Speaker Session Hosts

The ODA is seeking volunteers as Speaker Session Hosts (previously Session Chairs) for ASM26. As a Speaker Session Host, volunteers will receive a complimentary early-bird registration as well as host suite privileges (breakfast and lunch) on the day(s) they volunteer.

Speaker Session Hosts’ duties include:

• Mandatory completion of ASM26 Speaker Session Host virtual training via the ODA Education Hub

• Arranging to meet the speaker prior to their course

• Introducing and thanking the speaker

• Acknowledging speaker sponsor(s), overseeing courses, handling attendee questions, and addressing any issues with the assistance of the room monitor and/or show management.

Please note: Early-bird registration fees will be refunded to volunteers who have been selected to be a Speaker Session Host. Refunds will be processed between May 11 and June 01, 2026.

How to apply

• All volunteers must be registered for ASM26 and reserve their course.

• Download, complete and submit the Speaker Session Host Form to the contact below.

• When completing your application, please ensure you rank the courses in order of preference. While the ODA will make every effort to assign volunteers their preferred courses(s), we cannot guarantee your choices. In addition, due to the limited number of Category 1 (Core) courses, volunteers will only be permitted to host one Category 1 (Core) course.

• Following registration and submission of the volunteer application form, the ODA will notify the successful volunteer applicants.
