Should I Sign Up for the CDCP?

"Should I sign up for the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)?" That is the question on every dental professional's mind. Ultimately, it is your choice to make. But with any contract, terms, and conditions, you need to understand exactly what you are signing up for and the potential implications it will have on your patients, practice, and dental team. Join Dr. Brock Nicolucci, ODA President, Dr. Maneesh Jain, ODA President-Elect, and Frank Bevilacqua, ODA CEO, for an informative discussion where we'll delve into the essential aspects of the CDCP and the potential pitfalls that every dental provider should understand before signing up. Open to the entire dental team, this presentation is designed to equip you with the knowledge you need to make an informed decision about participating in the CDCP. There will also be a question-and-answer portion following the presentation. This presentation takes place April 19, from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. in Hall F, South Building and is included for free in your ASM24 registration.

Today, there are more than 10,000 ODA dentists, which is more than nine in 10 dentists in the province. The ODA is Ontario’s primary source of information on oral health and on the dental profession. We advocate with a unified voice for accessible and sustainable optimal oral health for all Ontarians. Working with health-care professionals, governments, the private sector and the public, the ODA promotes the highest standards of dental care and the critical role of the dentist as the leader of the oral health-care team.
