Registration Categories

Everyone must register in their professional category.

Ontario Dentists and Dental Students

  • ODA Dentist, ODA 50-Year/Honorary Dentist

  • ODA Dental Student

To attend ASM26, Ontario dentists and dental students must be ODA members. Membership dues for 2025–2026 must be current to register. You must provide your ODA membership number. To join, visit www.oda.ca/about-us/become-an-oda-member/

Dentists Out-of-Province/Country

Dentists from outside of Ontario must register in the Out-of-Province (D) category. You must have a practice address outside of Ontario in order to complete this category of registration.

Other Dental Health Professionals

  • Dental Hygienist

  • Dental Assistant

  • Office Personnel

  • Dental Technologists

  • Denturists

Other oral-health professionals must register in their respective professional category. Consultants and dental industry vendors cannot register in this category. They must be exhibitors to attend. To become an exhibitor, visit the Exhibitors Information page.

Dental Team Students

  • Dental Hygiene Students

  • Dental Assisting Students

  • Dental Technology Students, Denturism Students

To register as a student, you must be enrolled in a full-time dental or oral-health professional program. You must provide your school name and student number. Official documentation may be requested. Please note: that no attendance verification will be provided.

International attendees

To help support your application for a Canadian visitor visa, the ODA can send you a Letter of Invitation. The Letter of Invitation is not a substitute for a visa and applicants must follow the formal visa application process. The Letter of Invitation does not, in any way, obligate the ODA financially. If your visa is not granted, we will issue a full refund. The ODA does not get involved in the visa application process. 

To get a Letter of Invitation, please follow these steps.

  • Register for ASM26 starting January 8, 2026.

  • Submit an International Attendees Form (2026 form will be available closer to registration).

 Please note that:

  • A separate form must be completed for each attendee.

  • All fields on the International Attendees Form are mandatory and must be accurately completed.

  • For each entry/word, please capitalize the first word and use lower case for the remaining words.

  • Use your email address so that we may contact you if necessary.

  • Attach copies of

    • license to practice dentistry

    • passport with photo

    • your ASM26 Registration Confirmation (when available).

 Please allow two to three business days to get the Letter of Invitation from us.
